言語の選択

Select a Languageと表示されるので、1とタイプした後にEnterキーを入力します。

ロケールの選択

次にSelect a Localeと表示されるので 1とタイプした後にEnterキーを入力します。

Xサーバの選択

kdmconfig - Introduction and X Server Selectionと表示されるので、Xorg Serverを選択し、F2を押します。

ネットワークの接続性

Network Connectivityと表示されている画面で、ネットワークへ接続されるようYesを選択し、F2を押します。

次に、マシンに搭載されている複数のインタフェースのうち、どれを使用するかを選択し、F2を押します。

Ultra20M2 の場合: nge0を選択してください。
X2100M2 の場合: bge0を選択してください。

DHCPの設定

DHCPと表示されている画面で、DHCPを使用しないようNoを選択し、F2を押します。

Host Name for nge0と表示されている画面で、ホスト名を入力し、F2を押します。

IPアドレスの設定

IP Address for nge0と表示されている画面で、IPアドレスを入力し、F2を押します。ここでは、192.168.0.111を入力しています。

次に、Subnet for nge0と表示されている画面で、サブネットを使用するようYesを入力し、F2を押します。

Default Route IP Address for nge0と表示されている画面で、デフォルトルータのIPアドレスを入力し、F2を押します。ここでは、デフォルトルータのアドレスとして192.168.0.254と指定しています。

構成情報の確認と起動

セキュリティーポリシーの設定

Configure Security Policyと表示されている画面にて、Kerberos Security を使用しないようNoを選択して、F2を押します。

ネームサービス

Name Serviceと表示さえｒている画面にて、任意のネームサービスを選択してF2を押して下さい。ここでは、Noneを選択しています。選択するネームサービスにより、この後に示される質問が幾つか異なります。ここの手順ではNoneを選択した場合を想定し、手順を進めます。

パスワードの設定

Root Password画面にて、任意のパスワードを 2回入力して下さい。入力したらF2を押してください。

NFSv4の使用に関する設定

System identification is completed.と表示された画面にて、NFSv4を使用しないようnoと入力し、Enterキーを押して下さい。その後マシンの起動が開始します。

目次
